Mesoporous Carbon Production by Nanocasting Technique Using Boehmite as a Template

A series of mesoporous carbonaceous materials were synthesized by the nanocasting technique using boehmite as a template and glucose carbon precursor. After pyrolysis removal, resulting material is that can be additionally doped with N, B K during prepyrolysis impregnation. In addition, influence doping on morphology, crystallinity stability carbons was studied X-ray diffraction, nitrogen physisorption, thermogravimetry, Raman IR spectroscopy transmission electron microscopy. While process effective for formation mesopores, KOH urea do not modify textural properties carbon. The use H3PO4 dopant, however, led to an AlPO4 compound resulted in solid lower specific surface area higher microporosity. All solids present thermal positive effect introduction heteroatoms skeleton. phosphorus-doped sample has better oxidation resistance, combustion temperature 120–150 °C than those observed other materials.
